Currently: Art Director / Senior Designer

Since I graduated, I've been working as a graphic designer. My current job is Art Director / Senior Designer at a small, all woman marketing agency in Shelby, NC. I love the diversity of working at an agency, everything from logos to billboards to web sites come across my desk. The group of women I'm working with are pretty amazing too and I've had the pleasure of working with them for over 5 years now. In other parts of my life, I'm married. Ashley and I will be celebrating our 4th anniversary this year. I also have a dog, Dallas, a Great Dane we adopted earlier this year. He's been an adventure, but I wouldn't trade him for anything. I'm also a yoga instructor and have been teaching at the local YMCA for 2 years. In my spare time I cook, bake, garden and read.

Some of my favorite Honors memories are of living in Poplar hall on the third floor. I'm still in touch with many of the friends I made there. I loved the openness and camaraderie of living there that I didn't experience anywhere else on campus. And who can forget the Honors beach trips. My college experience wouldn't have been quite the same without being part of this program.
