Advising WorksheetThe attached worksheet can help you plan how you want to distribute your honors courses through your undergraduate career. Several of the University Honors Program course requirements also fulfill the University General Education Requirements. Please note, you must complete all University General Education Requirements.LBST 1000 level course: Take this course as an honors section. If you are a transfer student or have earned credit for a 1000 level LBST course before you were admitted to the University or UHP, speak with the Director of UHP. LBST 2000 level courses: Of the three required 2000 level LBST courses required by the University, TWO of them must be honors sections. You may take all three as honors sections, but you do have the choice to take one 2000 LBST course as a non honors section. Community Service Lab, Honors 2750: This is a required course. These 40 hours of sustained community service is in addition to participation in semester service projects. Honors 3000 level courses: Everyone is required to take TWO 3000 level honors courses. If you are studying abroad, there are courses which might be transferred back as Honors courses. Please consult with the Director of UHP. Honors 3790: Please see the section on graduating with UHP distinction as there are several options. If you are not graduating with Departmental Honors, then you must take Honors 3790 to complete your senior project requirement. If you have questions, please do ask them. |
